The Federal Government has been asked to be more transparent in the implementation of whistle blower policy on the fight against corruption in the country. African Centre for Media Information Literacy and some media practitioners made the call in Abuja at a media dialogue on the anti corruption war.
The Federal Government had introduced the whistle blower policy as part of measures to curb corrupt practices in Nigeria. One year after the policy was initiated African Centre for Media Information Literacy put together this media dialogue to assess the impact of the policy on the fight against corruption.
Participants here of the view that the Federal Government must be transparent and also protect whistle blower for the policy to succeed.
