Osun state Lawmakers are set to propose a bill to curb the excesses of students embarking on protests either against the school authority or government.
Recent rise in the display of violence during student demonstrations, shown in the latest attack by Irate students of the Southern Institute of Innovative Technology, SNIIT, a private polytechnic in Ifewara Osun state, has added to the concern of members of the State House of Assembly.
The students were said to have razed down the school after a disagreement with the chairman of the school’s board over the non accreditation of some courses.
