As Nigeria battles with the novel Coronavirus pandemic, the First Lady, Aisha Buhari, has called on stakeholders at the Federal and State levels to commit funds to the prevention and treatment of malnutrition in the country.
The First Lady also said proper nutrition is needed to strengthen the immune system to combat most illnesses including COVID-19.
Aisha Buhari also called on community stakeholders, families and caregivers to ensure that food items meant for malnourished children are actually given to the children who need them for their health and well-being.
