The Muslim Community in Epe, in show of support, massively trouped out to welcome the Lead Visioner of the Lagos4Lagos Movement, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (Jandor) into their midst as he arrived alongside his team for the Ramadan Lecture organized by the movement over the weekend.
Speaking at the event, Jandor was full of gratitude to Almighty Allah for his benevolence and appreciated all the Imams who graced the occasion despite immense pressure from powers in the state to stop them from attending. He went on to solicit their continuous support and prayers for the movement whose mission has become a divine ‘child’ of necessity to liberate our dear state. Dr. Adediran reassured all that there is no going back or compromise on the goals of the movement, especially to hand back to the people, their inalienable rights to elect their own independent leader and not one handed over to them by manipulative compulsion or coercion.
The roll call at the lecture includes the Guest Speakers, the chief imam of Ibeju-Lekki Lekki, Fadeelatu Sheikh Abdulfatai Soliu Idinu, Chief Imam of Epe kingdom Fadeelatu Sheikh Abdulateef Oladapo amongst others. In his sermon, Sheikh Abdulfatai Soliu admonished Jandor to adopt fairness at all times, once in office, in the distribution of resources of the state across the divisions and desist from the current inequality and lopsidedness approach.
On his part, the Chief Imam of Epe, Fadeelatu Sheikh Abdulateef Oladapo identified the philanthropic attributes of Dr. Adediran and enjoined everyone to be steadfast, honest and courageous in rendering selfless service to humanity. Speaking further, he reminded all that fulfilment in life is not measured by material acquisitions but the number of people whose lives we positively touch and the number of people we being smiles to their faces. In conclusion, he appealed to Jandor, as a matter of urgency, to build his blueprint on eradicating poverty in the land.
