In continuation of its demand for total reversal of pump price of premium motor spirit to N86.30 the Nigerian Labour Congress has taken over the popular Berger junction in the Nations capital, Abuja. Leaders of the Ayuba Wabba led faction of the Nigerian Labour Congress and its civil society allies are calling on government to accede to its demand or face a total lockdown of all commercial activities in the country.

In line with its stated resolve to compel government to listen to its demand for the reversal of the pump price of petrol the NLC started its activities to mobilise Nigerians to join the action from the federal secretariat through the popular Wuse market and ended up at Berger amidst heavy security presence.

The aim according to its leaders is to ensure that the government listen to its demand and end its alleged anti people policies.
